This Policy explains the personal information ToMyZone Ltd. (MyZone) (“MyZone”, we”, “our”, or “us”) collects, uses, and shares, as well as our parental consent practices with respect to information provided by children under the age of 13 (“child” or “children”). This policy is in accordance with the U.S. Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (“COPPA”), and outlines our practices in the United States regarding children’s personal information collected and used on our mobile application. INFORMATION COLLECTION AND USE

As you use the Application, MyZone will collect and use your personal information as outlined below.  

        When a child registers to use the application: we collect, from the child, personal identifiers (the nickname the child selects and an animated avatar the child selects out of a selection we provide). We relate this information in our system with the child’s parent’s email address and use this information to complete the registration and maintain the user account.

 

        When the child uses the application: we automatically collect information about how the child interacts with the application (internet or other electronic network activity). This includes things like: such as what is clicked on, frequency of access, and time of access, the answers the child provided to the questions, the tasks the child completed. We use this information to better understand your child’s interactions with our application and adjust the content presented to the child or its format accordingly, as well as to better understand generally how children interact with the app functions, better understand which features work better and use this information to improve our application. We use this information, in the aggregate to understand things like: geographic breakdown of our uses, the types of operating systems they use, the days or times that are more popular and time spent on each unit.

 

        When the child wins a prize or reward: we will collect, from you, the details for the shipment of the reward (name and physical address).

 

We do not condition participation in the app on disclosing more personal information than is reasonably necessary to participate in the app.

 

RETENTION

We only retain your child’s information until the user for the child is deleted by the parent or at the parent’s request. We may delete information in inactive accounts after a certain period of time.

 

INFORMATION SHARING

With service providers: We share your child’s information with service providers that assist us in providing the mobile application. These service providers include our IT support, email vendor, and cloud platform provider. 

In addition, as a parent, through the Parent Zone, you will have access to all of your child’s usage information in the app.

General Sharing

        Within MyZone: We share your personal information within MyZone companies in order to efficiently carry out and improve our business and to the extent permitted by law.

 

        In a corporate reorganization: In the event that we enter into, or intend to enter into, a transaction that alters the structure of our organization, such as a reorganization, merger, acquisition, sale, joint venture, assignment, consolidation, transfer, change of control, or other disposition of all or any portion of our assets, we would share your personal information with third parties, including the buyer or target (and their agents and advisors) for the purpose of facilitating and completing the transaction. We would also share your personal information with third parties if we undergo bankruptcy or liquidation, in the course of such proceedings.

 

        For legal purposes: We will share your personal information where we are legally required to do so, such as in response to court orders, law enforcement or legal process, including for national security purposes; to establish, protect, or exercise our legal rights; as required to enforce our terms of use or other contracts; to defend against legal claims or demands; to detect, investigate, prevent, or take action against illegal activities, fraud, or situations involving potential threats to the rights, property, or personal safety of any person; or to comply with the requirements of any applicable law.

 

PARENTAL CONTROLS

Through the Parent Zone you can view all the child’s information and interaction with the app. You can see: the child’s progress in the app, every task the child uploaded, messages received in the app and the rewards offered.

At any time, parents can refuse to permit us to collect further personal information from their children (in association with a particular account), and can request that we delete from our records their child’s account (along with all the personal information included in it).

Please note that copies of information may remain in cached or archived form on our systems for up to 14 days after you request us to delete it.

INFORMATION SECURITY

We implement and maintain reasonable and security measures to protect the personal information we collect and maintain.  Some examples of this are encryption, firewall, and one-time passwords). However, no security measure or modality of data transmission over the Internet is 100% secure and we are unable to guarantee the absolute security of the information we have collected from you. 

CHANGES

We may change this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the changes to this page and will indicate the date the changes go into effect. We encourage you to review our Privacy Policy to stay informed. If we make changes that materially affect your privacy rights, we will notify you with a prominent post on our Website and/or via email and obtain your consent, if required.
